Pozsony – Bécs

After taking part in an interview for Radio Patria, I easily located the right cycle lane, and so found myself arriving at the Austrian-Slovak border at around noon and ahead of schedule. As I crossed the border, a strange feeling came over me – a different country, a different culture, a DIFFERENT LANGUAGE! How would I manage to communicate? Suddenly my departure seemed so far away...

Soon the traffic got heavier and I met a lot of other cyclists. These encounters gave me some addtional strength and power, particularly when I received an encouraging smile or greeting.

Vienna is a cycling city!!!The cycle lanes are wide, smooth, comfortable and safe!
