Linz – Passau

It is impossible to decide which part of my journey has been more beautiful –the wine making region to the south of Vienna, or this stretch from Linz to Passau.  Here the Danube winds its way through green summer fields and quaint Austrian villages; wonderful!

At one of the resting points I met up with two crazy German guys, and for a short time we continued our journey together.  We split again around noon, taking different roads, and with different goals in our hearts.

That evening, I went to a karaoke party with the host of the shelter and his friends. Despite their best efforts, they did not manage to persuade me to sing – fortunately for the audience!
